Dr. Hornik is a board certified pediatrician. He completed his undergraduate work at Michigan State University Lyman Briggs School where he received his Bachelor of Science in Physiology. He completed his medical education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His residency training was at William Beaumont Children's Hospital in Royal Oak where he served as Chief Pediatric Resident from June 2012 through June 2013.
Dr. Hornik's clinical interests are general pediatrics, advocacy, and autism. He was trained by the Beaumont Center for Human Development where he was also employed at their Autism Evaluation Clinic for two years. He is an Assistant Professor at the William Beaumont Oakland University School of Medicine where he enjoys teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Hornik is a Past-President for the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics serving from 2020-2022. He is also involved with the national American Academy of Pediatrics and advocacy. In his spare time, Dr. Hornik enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with his wife, two sons, and daughter.
